Welcome to the musings of Marci. I have always considered myself an artist, one of the those people that sees things just a bit differently. I love surprises and have left small gifts in public places for others to find and mailed anonymous packages to friends just to surprise them.
My experiments with art & craft include quilting, embroidery, cross stitch, handmade jewelry, mixed media collage, sewing clothes, toys, art journaling, and lots of other things. I am mixing all of these together to create Simply Artistic Pleasures.
Next time you travel to Oregon and happen to be near downtown Hillsboro, keep your eyes open for a small gift of art tucked away in an unusual place. Welcome to my world.

Good Luck with the blog-hope to have one myself some day. I will gladly follow your journey and join you-am getting back into art for myself after years of doing things for others. I’m anxious to see whar emerges!
Love your venture into the world of blogging and especially the topic. I’m so glad you’re blogging and focusing upon your art and the creation aspects of it.
Marci, it was so nice meeting you today. Love your blog! I’ve added it to my feed reader.
Is there a way to subscribe to your blog?
Hi Becky – Thanks for asking. Yes you can subscribe to my blog. I just added two links, one is for email notification when I post a new blog and one for RSS feeds.
Awesome site!
How cool to leave surprise packages in public places. I think I will start that here in Southern New Hampshire! You are too cool.

Marci–
Was browsing your blog… looks like the two of us have a lot in common with our art. I literally am waiting for Kelli Perkins’ book from Amazon. Should arrive today. I am going to follow your blog….
LOVE IT!
Thank you SO MUCH for leaving your ideas for naming my new little bags! I LOVE YOUR SUGGESTIONS!!! I will definitely pick one — and definitely give you credit for the suggestion.
(((hugs)))
Becky
I’ve been reading through your blog and I see you live near Hillsboro. I’m in Cedar Mill, just 15 minutes from you, at the most. My daughter lives in the Jackson School neighborhood and my grands go to Jackson Elementary and Evergreen MS. So of course we’ll get together one day soon.
