I just finished up my two fabric cones for a swap on Cloth Paper Studio Yahoo Group. The idea from these came from Ruth Rae and her article that she did in the Quilting Arts Gifts magazine from 2008. These are a smaller version using a 5 inch by 5 inch of felt as the base and then adding layers of coffee dyed cheesecloth, ribbon, buttons, pearls and fibers and cotton fabric. Very sweet.

Fun, Quick, Easy Market Totes
Take a look at these fabulous Market Totes that I made for an upcoming swap at Cloth Paper Studio. I used Anna Maria Horner fabrics from her Drawing Room line of upholstery weight cotton. They are double sided so you can turn them inside out and have a different design. These are durable, washable and will last for years. The design was created by Jessica at SewBunnyBun in Perth, Australia.
Won’t these be fun to carry around at the Farmer’s Market? Imagine these loaded with fresh carrots, lettuce, tomatoes, corn, flowers and such.
