What a fabulous mail day this has been.  Today I received my Art-in-a-Carton from Susan in Germany.  Look at these lovely goodies she made for me.  The carton is painted black and there are  hand and flag cut-outs that have been glued to the sides.  Inside this carton there was this converted tin can covered with paint, gold flourishes and straw, the handle is wire wrapped and has a stack of tags tied to it – the textures on this are wonderful.  There is a handmade fabric and ribbon rose with a lovely gold shell on top; a lovely matchbook covered with paper, fabric and a wrapped donut on top.  The paper twist has a flower cut-out and gold mesh.  I have not opened that package yet but I hear special goodies in there.  Thank you very much Susan.
