Until we take the yearly trek down to Sisters, Oregon for the Sisters Outdoor Quilt Show, always on the second Saturday on July.
Every year for the past 17 years, I have attended this one day quilt show. There is nothing like seeing an entire town come to life with quilts hung on every possible railing, tree, fence, wall as well as inside the stores on Cascade Street (the main thorough fare in town). The week prior to the show is filled with folks taking all types of classes as well as evening receptions for highlighted artists. There is also the Stitching Post, a fabulous quilt store that carries everything you can think of. If you live within a days drive, go to the show. You will be inspired!!
I will be taking photos and posting them here after the show. Stay tuned.
I sure wish I lived within a day’s drive – it sounds like a wonderful show. Have a great time!
