A jewelry charm for “Ties That Bind”

Today I completed my donation to the “Ties That Bind” project – a group of artists united to help fund Ovarian Cancer research.

The color designated for Ovarian Cancer is a teal/turquoise shade.  Those are the colors I chose to make this charm.  The three stones in the center are hand formed out of turquoise, malachite and lapis lazuli chips,  then the teal Swarovski crystals add just the right amount of sparkle.  Each unit is wired wrapped and attached with jump rings.  The center heart is a separate charm and is also attached to the base with a jump ring.  Please visit the Ties That Bind  blog to see how all of these charms will be used.
