Permission Slip

This weeks soul journal prompt was to create a permission slip to give to yourself – write down all of the things that you feel like you have to get permission to do – like making the time for art.  This was a great stream of thought exercise on the left side of the page.  The right side is an envelope created with 140lb cardstock with printed, stamped, punched and painted swirls and circles.  The card above the envelope fits inside and the ribbon hangs out like a tag.

This was lots of fun and I look forward to next week’s prompt.  Does this type of journaling interest you?  Consider joining us at the Soul Journal Yahoo Group.  All of us started this journey with Sarah Whitmire on her blog Caspiana.  Take a look, get started with Day One  and let me know how you’re doing.

Enjoy the journey!
