It is not often that I sit down at the art table and don’t have a deadline to meet or an idea already formulated. But, last night I decided just to sit and play with paper and paint. I pulled out a large piece of Fabriano Artistico watercolor paper, tubes of Golden heavy body acrylics, Folk Art acrylics, stencils, and a pair of beautiful cocktail napkins for color inspirations.
Doesn’t this remind you of a Fiesta? I can’t wait to start another one.
Keep it simple!

Marci – the colors are wonderful! I love this piece, the patterns make all of the colors just pop. How fun to start out with no plan and end up with something this fabulous.
Oh yeah! This page rocks. Have you heard of serendipity squares or even inchies? This page would be soooo cool to cut up and make some with.
I have had lots of email about the process to create this page so I will write a post about the process. Stay tuned!
This is beautiful. Can you tell us a little about the process you used?
Wow, this is beautiful!! I love all the color, but I think my favorite parts are the white flowers. They really make the whole piece come together in an extra-joyous way.
WOW – so bright and colorful!! Looks like fun too.
