We just returned from a weeks vacation at Wallowa Lake in Eastern Oregon – what a beautiful fabulous place to end the summer with.  We have been camping there for over 15 years now and the best thing is that is doesn’t change from year to year.  The lake is as beautiful as ever, the deer still roam the campground, the kids still feed the somewhat tame chipmunks and squirrels and the view from the tram to Mount Howard at 8,000 feet is spectacular.
